Since the beginning of her career as a lawyer, María Teresa has focused on advising on corporate, real estate, and corporate matters, primarily.

 

EDUCATION

​

She studied in Santiago, at the Law School of the University of Chile, between the years 1975 and 1979. Degree in Law in 1981.

EXPERIENCE

​

She has practiced her professional experience as a lawyer in Law Offices (Carey & Cia; Legal Department of Banco de Credito e Inversiones and Perez Iñigo, Baraona Abogados); in private practice advising as an external lawyer to her clients, including Banco O'Higgins, Banco Osorno, Banco de Credito e Inversiones, Zurich Administradora General de Fondos, and Zurich Seguros de Vida SA); as a lawyer for Companies (Legal Departments of the Celfin Capital Group and Marbella Chile) and at the Santiago Real Estate Registrar, in the Registry of Property and Commerce. To date, she contributes as a lawyer in her specialty at Acevedo Santini Abogados.
